Each of the characters no longer has a home. Each of them is an exile with his own sad story. The main character, Princess Katria Zamkovetska, has a disability, and her father hates her so much that he lost at cards. Matvii is a nobleman who is also running away from his tyrant father. Volotsyuga has neither a home nor a name. And the buffoon Talestra herself resembles an Amazon. All together, each for their own reasons, they set out to find the land of the Amazons - the land of New Thermiscyra, following the Milky Way and the call of their own hearts. Each of the heroes knows that this journey will change their lives forever, but they have nothing to fear or lose.
The novel, written by a Ukrainian writer with love for her native land, has a mesmerizing atmosphere. In this atmosphere, Ukrainian, Greek and Scythian legends are intertwined in a strange, but surprisingly harmonious pattern. The book is not devoid of romantic lines with erotic scenes, however, since the book is for teenagers, and not for adults, they are presented without excessive detail.
